@@davidgrant8994 welcome. more info saturninflatableboats.ca/18-saturn-inflatable-boat.html . around 6-8 inches in water. important places are double layered. you can cut the fabric if run over the sharp object. there are 3 main air chambers. should stay afloat.

Try paddling kneeling down with your feet up against the rear bench. The tubes wedge you in and you can go about twice as fast. Also get long paddle to clear the tubes

First thing you do is throw the oars away because they are useless and very cheap quality and the wrong length. Just replace them with a paddle board paddle or 240 cm kayak paddle carbon fiber or fiberglass

Is it possible to climb back into the kayak after swimming without flipping it over easily? I like to jump out of boats to go for a swim but want to make sure it's not to easy to tip an inflatable kayak over when climbing back in.
inflatable kayak more stable than hard shell. it is not easy to flip inflatable. You should be You should be fit enough to pull yourself back to kayak.

From what I have seen the fabric isnt the issue. The seams on inflatable boats suffer terribly.. From what I have seen online.
all depends how boat is looked after. average life span for PVC boat is 5-10 years.
Mike K 5-10 years is great. Needing repairs every year or 2 is a different story.
We have Zodiacs on the tugs that are over 25 years old. I will say this they are always kept under a cover and they were made in France.

If you have valve that has 2 parts, inside part and outside it is not easy to replace the inside valve part. hole in fabric is smaller than the valve inside part, so you can not take it out without cutting the fabric.
